We are now able to open our doors again and welcome guests to this wonderful part of the country. The cottages are being let every other week so that we can ensure your safety and our own, we want you to come and have a relaxing holiday. There will not be a tea tray but we will still give the Welcome Pack as this can be put in the cottage beforehand ( frozen where necessary). Sorry to those of you that enjoy the home made bread , I still can’t get yeast but I will source good local bread.
As we are spacing the bookings by a week we are not able to accept short breaks ( except where our calendars show a few days) if our calendar shows a week available then it must be taken as a whole week. I am sure normal service will be resumed next year.
Our local hostelries have risen to the challenge and are providing take away meals which can be collected from the door. We have treated ourselves to supper from The White Horse and The Crown in Clunton both delicious treats and a change from our own home cooked food. The Maltings in Clun is also providing take away snack lunches.
As the lockdown relaxes I hope that you are able to get out and about and enjoy your hobbies again . We are able to attend one to one training classes with the dogs and I think that they are enjoying them more than we are!! Peter still misses his bowling and there will not be any competitions this year, hopefully a few friendly games before the greens are closed down for winter. We should all be well rested and ready for the off next year.
I hope you like the photo of the wonderful sunset not my usual snap but too good to miss.
